General terms and conditions

Hampshire Hotel- Delft Centre is the trade name for Hotel Delft Centre BV, Chamber of Commerce 27194734, NL 809395678 BO1, Koepoortplaats 3, 2612RR Delft, the Netherlands, hereinafter referred to as “Hampshire Hotel- Delft Centre”.


Please read through these general terms and conditions and corresponding privacy policy carefully, as they are binding in nature. The Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry apply at Hampshire Hotel-Delft Centre.

Covid 19 meassurements

We stick to the guidelines given by the Dutch public health agency RIVM and the hotel and restaurant sector organization (Koninklijke Horeca Nederland). 

Checking in and out

Your room will be ready from 2 p.m. on the day of your arrival and can be used up to 11 a.m. on the day of your departure. It is possible to use the room for longer for a surcharge of €7 per hour (up to 2 p.m. on the day of your departure). In consultation, it is also possible to check in earlier than 2 p.m., for a surcharge of €7 per hour.

Booking guarantee and reservation

Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking for each booking at a non-refundable rate. Other reservations can be guaranteed with a valid credit or debit card and will not be charged at the time of booking. Please bear in mind that your card will be pre-authorised 7 days before your arrival in order to verify the validity of the credit card details provided. By making a reservation, you are giving the hotel your express consent to conduct a pre-authorisation. If the pre-authorisation is unsuccessful, we will contact you to obtain an alternative guarantee method. Without an alternative method, we will cancel the reservation. Please bear in mind that the pre-authorisation does not constitute payment. Upon arrival, you may propose to us an alternative payment method instead of the card used to guarantee the booking. The authorisation will be cancelled once you have departed.

Room bookings are non-transferable without the prior written consent of Hampshire Hotel- Delft Centre. Administrative costs may be charged for any changes made to bookings.

Your reservation

Once you have completed your booking, you will receive an e-mail containing your reservation number. Please bring this number and the credit card used to make the booking with you to guarantee the booking. If the credit card doesn’t belong to you, you must complete this authorisation form and ask the card holder to sign it. This form must be in our possession prior to your arrival, otherwise we won’t be able to guarantee your reservation.

If you made the reservation in your name but aren’t staying at the hotel yourself, please let us know the name of the new guest as soon as possible.

Amendments, cancellations and no-shows

If you wish to amend any part of your reservation, please contact us at 31 (0)15 2122125 or through our service portal. Amendments naturally depend on availability, but we will do our best to help.

Bookings made at a refundable rate may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before your day of arrival. If you cancel after this time, we will charge for the first night.

If we don’t hear anything from you, we will also charge for the first night of your stay. If you need to cancel one or more nights of your stay, we will also charge for one additional night. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing at all times, both to us and to the third party with whom you made the booking (if applicable).

In the event that you cancel a booking at a non-refundable rate, the costs of the entire stay will be charged. These reduced rates are only possible thanks to their non-reclaimable nature. In this case, no refunds may be made under any circumstances and without exception.

For bookings consisting of 25 nights or more, the following cancellation conditions apply:

> 1 month       : Free of charge

> 14 days                    : 15% of the reservation value

> 7 days                      : 35% of the reservation value

> 3 days                      : 60% of the reservation value

> 24 hours      : 85% of the reservation value

< 24 hours      : 100% of the reservation value


Our website always shows the best rates. These are per room, per night, including VAT on the applicable rate, excluding tourist tax. Room prices exclude breakfast.


If you have caused any damage or stolen items from your room, we will charge your credit or debit card for the damage caused.

Smoking policy

Hampshire Hotel- Delft Centre is 100% smoke-free in accordance with the smoking ban. If you violate the smoking ban, a €150 fine will be charged.


Hampshire Hotel- Delft Centre is not responsible for theft or damage to guests’ property caused by other hotel guests or third parties during their stay. A small safe is available in all rooms in which to store your valuables.


Any personal possessions will only be returned at the written request of the guest. The guest is responsible for all costs and risks associated with returning the item(s).

Force majeure

Hampshire Hotel- Delft Centre may not be held liable for the full or partial non-fulfilment of its obligations attributable to force majeure, such as, but not limited to, floods, forest fires, storms, terrorism, strikes or public events.


Reservations for more than 10 rooms, regardless of whether they consist of reservations made individually, are regarded as a group and may only be booked directly through the hotel and not through a third party. Groups will be made an offer stating the specific payment and cancellation conditions. When making the group reservation, the guest/company expressly agrees with these terms and conditions that are additional to our general terms and conditions. Payment of all known costs must be in our possession and in accordance with the contractual terms and conditions prior to the arrival of the group, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

In the event of late payment, the rooms may no longer be reserved and there is no right to a refund for any advance payments already paid.

Free cancellation, changes to the number of rooms and/or changes to the number of nights for the group reservation as a whole is possible up to three months prior to arrival.

Cancellation conditions for groups:

> 3 months     : Free of charge

> 2 months      : 15% of the reservation value

> 1 month       : 35% of the reservation value

> 14 days                    : 60% of the reservation value

> 7 days                      : 85% of the reservation value

< 7 days                      : 100% of the reservation value

All transactions and credit card details entered on the website are entered on a secure page and transferred to a secure payment platform via SSL.

Feras Almahmoud (40 jaar) werkt al sinds 2016 in het hotel. Eerst vrijblijvend als onderdeel van een stage, daarna vast in dienst.

We kunnen wel zeggen dat Feras één van de meest veerkrachtige medewerkers uit ons team is. Hij liet zijn geliefde Aleppo achter om een veiliger bestaan op te bouwen.
Alsof het niets was maakte hij de Nederlandse taal machtig en begon
met werken in het hotel.
Een fijne collega met een gouden hart en gouden handen.

Waar ben je goed in?
Reparaties. Ik hou zelf het meest van de klussen waarbij ik met elektra kan werken.
Het geeft me voldoening als ik iets kan maken wat in eerste instantie niet meer te repareren lijkt. Ik denk dat er te vaak dingen onnodig worden weggegooid. 

Welke personen zijn belangrijk voor jou?
Mijn gezin staat op nummer 1. Ik heb samen met mijn vrouw 3 zoons en 3 dochters. Mooi verdeeld dus.

Wat doe je in je vrije tijd?
Ik wandel graag en ik hou van tafeltennis. Zo blijf ik lekker in beweging en gezond. Misschien leuk om te vertellen dat we bij het hotel ook een urban fitness hebben, dat weten niet alle mensen.

Van welke muziek hou je?
Het meest hou ik van Arabische muziek. Daar liggen toch mijn wortels. Ik vind vooral de muziek van Fairuz en Umm Kulthum prachtig.
Daarnaast luister ik ook naar Nederlandstalige en Engelstalige muziek.

Wat een leuke foto. Wat ben je daar aan het doen?
Hier hang ik de vogelhuisjes op die de leerlingen van de Herman Broerenschool hebben gemaakt. We hebben dus ook een hotel voor vogels. Als je langs het hotel rijdt kun je ze misschien zien hangen. Ik geloof dat ik er laatst een paar “gasten” in zag vliegen.
