General terms and conditions

Hampshire Hotel- Delft Centre is the trade name for Hotel Delft Centre BV, Chamber of Commerce 27194734, NL 809395678 B01, Koepoortplaats 3, 2612RR Delft, the Netherlands, hereinafter referred to as “Hampshire Hotel- Delft Centre”.

General

Please read through these general terms and conditions and corresponding privacy policy carefully, as they are binding in nature. The Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry apply at Hampshire Hotel-Delft Centre.

Checking in and out

Your room will be ready from 3 p.m. on the day of your arrival and can be used up to 11 a.m. on the day of your departure. Longer or earlier use of the room is possible at a surcharge and subject to availability.

Booking guarantee and reservation

Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking for each booking at a non-refundable rate. Other reservations can be guaranteed with full prepayment in your chosen payment method. If payment is not made in full prior to your stay, we reserve the right to cancel the room.  

Room bookings are non-transferable without the prior written consent of Hampshire Hotel- Delft Centre. Administrative costs may be charged for any changes made to bookings.

Your reservation

Once you have completed your booking, you will receive an e-mail containing your reservation number. Please bring this number and ID with you. 

If you made the reservation in your name but aren’t staying at the hotel yourself, please let us know the name of the new guest as soon as possible.

Guests under the age of 18 require parental/guardian consent to reserve a room. This parent/guardian must be present at check-in. Minor guests may be refused entry without permission.

Amendments, cancellations and no-shows

If you wish to amend any part of your reservation, please contact us at reserveringen@hoteldelftcentre.nl/+ 31 (0)15 2122125 or through our service portal. Changes in your reservation are possible based on availability.

Bookings made at a refundable rate may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before your day of arrival. If you cancel after this time, we will charge for the first night.

If you need to cancel 1 or more nights of your stay, we will charge 1 extra night. This also applies if you do not use the reserved overnight stay.

In the event that you cancel a booking at a non-refundable rate, the costs of the entire stay will be charged. 

 Cancellations must be confirmed in writing at all times, to us and/or to the third party with whom you made the booking (if applicable).

For bookings consisting of 25 nights or more, the following cancellation conditions prior to arrival apply:

Up to 1 month: Free of charge
Up to 14 days: 15% of the reservation value
Up to 7 days: 35% of the reservation value
Up to 3 days: 60% of the reservation value
Up to 24 hours: 85% of the reservation value
After 24 hours: 100% of the reservation value

Price

Our website always shows the best rates. These are per room, per night, including VAT on the applicable rate, excluding tourist tax. 

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome. When making the reservation, please indicate in the comments box that you will be bringing an assistance dog. During check-in you will be asked for the identification card of the dog, which must also have a harness or leash that clearly indicates that the dog is an assistance dog. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Damage

If you have caused any damage or stolen items from your room, we will charge your credit or debit card for the damage caused.

Smoking policy

Hampshire Hotel- Delft Centre is 100% smoke-free in accordance with the smoking ban. If you violate the smoking ban, a €150 fine will be charged. The costs of the damage suffered must also be compensated.

Theft

Hampshire Hotel- Delft Centre is not responsible for theft or damage to guests’ property caused by other hotel guests or third parties during their stay. A small safe is available in all rooms in which to store your valuables.

Loss

Any personal possessions will only be returned at the written request of the guest. The guest is responsible for all costs and risks associated with returning the item(s).

Force majeure

Hampshire Hotel- Delft Centre may not be held liable for the full or partial non-fulfilment of its obligations attributable to force majeure, such as, but not limited to, floods, forest fires, storms, terrorism, strikes or public events.

Covid 19 meassurements

We stick to the guidelines given by the Dutch public health agency RIVM and the hotel and restaurant sector organization (Koninklijke Horeca Nederland). 

Groups

Reservations for more than 10 rooms, regardless of whether they consist of reservations made individually, are regarded as a group and may only be booked directly through the hotel and not through a third party. Groups will be made an offer stating the specific payment and cancellation conditions. When making the group reservation, the guest/company expressly agrees with these terms and conditions that are additional to our general terms and conditions. Payment of all known costs must be in our possession and in accordance with the contractual terms and conditions prior to the arrival of the group, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

In the event of late payment, the rooms may no longer be reserved and there is no right to a refund for any advance payments already paid.

Free cancellation, changes to the number of rooms and/or changes to the number of nights for the group reservation as a whole is possible up to three months prior to arrival.

Cancellation conditions for groups proir to arrivial:

Up to 3 months: Free of charge
Up to 2 months: 15% of the reservation value
Up to 1 month: 35% of the reservation value
Up to 14 days: 60% of the reservation value
Up to 7 days: 85% of the reservation value
After 7 days: 100% of the reservation value

Website payment

All transactions and credit card details entered on the website are entered on a secure page and transferred to a secure payment platform via SSL.

We do not investigate, verify or verify the accuracy/completeness of such websites. The inclusion of any linked website on our site does not imply our approval or approval of the linked website.
